In the fall of 2019, a friend of mine nearly drove off the road one morning in her Philadelphia neighborhood when she discovered that 5G cells had been put up overnight on the streets. 

And this is the decade telecom plans to roll out 5G to blanket the nation. In November 2019, the telecom industry admitted in a US Senate committee hearing that there has been no testing of the safety of 5G and its effect on humans or any plant or animal on Planet Earth. 

The telecom industry, interested only in profits, hasn’t done any safety tests, but the U.S. DoD Wirelesss Safety Standards had done so before there was any commercial interest. The Soviets conducted over 800 studies on non-ionizing radiation effects in workplaces from 1960 to early ‘90s. The Russians will NOT allow commercial access to 5G, instead keeping it for military channels.

Moms Will Stop This…

Like gravity, radiation is a physical element that doesn’t change over time. All the studies done earlier are relevant. Only the density of sources has multiplied, increasing the intensity of our exposure.

Federal agencies aren’t protecting the public. It’s going to be Moms who can– and are– stopping this! 

Clear your Home

First, reduce the sources of EMF in your home. If it’s labeled “Smart” there’s a chip in it, and it’s beaming out to a “Smart” electric meter. If you’ve shielded that meter or had it replaced with the analog meter, the device in the home is still transmitting EM signals. Tracking this is going to require a RF meter –even the talking Barbie has a chip and is emitting EMR! Then shield devices at home and with a family consultation set boundaries of location and time spent on electronic devices.  

Now you’re ready to turn your attention to the larger community—and prevent a 5G cell tower from being installed in front of your home, your neighborhood, your town and the school district.

Clear evidence of citizen impact on the Telecom invasion happened in the 118^th Congress ( Jan. ’23-‘25). Of the 90 bills from Telecom introduced in the House, only 20 passed in committees, and four were voted on the floor and became law. 

One of the bills that passed threatens wildlife and the nation’s quiet spaces  that are refuge for people and the animals. It allows federal land managers to deploy cell towers on recreational areas of federal lands, which includes national parks, national forests, wildlife refuges, and rangelands. 

The bill that was most threatening to our health and our communities

HR 3557, didn’t make it to the floor of the House. This bill presented the greatest threat since 1996 to local governments’ decision-making over the placement of cell towers and other wireless facilities. It would have virtually eliminated all local discretion over placement of antennas. 

It was lobbying by a coalition of organizations concerned with safe technology (moms, you were there!), and government rights’ groups such as the National Association of Counties, U.S. Conference of Mayors, and National League of Cities.

HR3557 was passed in the committee with all Republicans voting in favor. Already in the new Congress, two bills that are offshoots of HR3557 have been introduced in committee. 

The battle for local authority on where and if cell towers will be permitted is not over and is being decided every day in town meetings.
